hope

silence broken

headlines scream

horns sound

voices raised

peace stolen

easy to get caught up

looking out

 laying blame

joining in

taking eyes off

quick peek

reveals new life

dreams to be dreamed

visions to be visioned

life to be lived

hope to be shared

Then afterwards
   I will pour out my spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
   your old men shall dream dreams,
