sneak peek friday...dream

i love when God delights me... this week's greatest gift is a new community that led me to the delightful new to me artist jennifer (her blog is studio jru).  she is a reminder that faith and art collide in beauty, courage, and witness.

this week i played with lots of backgrounds using new techniques...





many i gave away too soon to take pics, yet i am partial to this piece based on Joel 2.28...









the background started out dark and heavy...sort of like sin...




then God became a part of it and the piece was transformed...us after time with God...


its textures and colors a reflection of the many layers that God works through to bring transformation in our hearts and lives...


it is waiting for the right home...

    The many textures and colours ass a great depth to your work. It's good you can enjoy each one before they find new homes.
