2011 Lenten Prayers using "writing to GOD: 40 Days of Praying with My Pen" - Day 29

matthew 6.9-13:
9 ‘Pray then in this way:
Our Father in heaven,
   hallowed be your name.
10   Your kingdom come.
   Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11   Give us this day our daily bread.*
12   And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13   And do not bring us to the time of trial,*
but rescue us from the evil one.

Lord these words remind me to look to you
Here and now
For just what I need
To trust that tomorrow will take care of itself
You do provide in ways I often don’t see
My blessings are like grains of sands
Too many to count
Your presence in the world around me
The bread that fills me so completely
Your touch in those near
The blessing that is so dear
Your will oh Lord, make it mine
That I make see the divine
In all that I do
To give honor and glory to you
