Creator God I thank you for the gift of the sea
Its constant motion reminds me of your constant move in my life
The power of each wave reminding me I am not in control
The tang of the salt speaking of how I am to respond to the world around me
The mist of each wave bringing to mind the living water that flows so freely
The grains of sand a reminder of your endless love
Sitting here I am in awe again of your majesty
And while it feels as though it is a gift to me
It is here I recognize your reality
And I find myself wanting to be all that you call me to be
