suddenly september

seems like we were

just dreaming

of summer days

and now

it is september...

time for a season of changing...

leaves, weather, and activities.

and yet, the race continues,

though it's end is known

we forget.

Therefore, 

since we are surrounded 

by such a great cloud of witnesses, 

let us throw off everything 

that hinders 

and the sin that so easily entangles. 

And let us run with perseverance 

the race marked out for us.
